Experience one of the popular pastimes of the area by taking a trip out to the
Fornaboda Trotting Course during the summer months. The course was built during 1951 since when it has become one of Sweden's most popular trotting courses reflecting the public interest in organised activities. The course is under the control of the Linde Trotting Club, a non-profit-making association. This is but one of many successful organisations which contribute with great zeal to a wide range of organised activities.
The Frövi Judo Club enjoys considerable success, the men's section having won the Swedish Championship, and there is a well-established and supported Handball Section in the Lindesberg Sports Association. Ice hockey, Football, Volleyball, Bowling, Gymnastique Moderne, Shooting, Athletics, Curling, in fact most forms of sport are represented in the area and enable participation in clubs, associations and spare time activities.

Naturally, there are many open air swimming baths to choose between during the summer months. Fellingsbro offers a 50 metre open air swimming pool for those who prefer not to swim in the lakes in the area.
On the other hand Vargkällan the swimming baths in the town, offers a number of challenging and venturous water activities. The swimming bath is used for both general and competition purposes while the venture bath includes a jacuzzi, an eddy channel, a geyser, a water cannon and a 47 metre long water slide. This area also includes a warm grotto and a separate pool for the tiny-tots. There is a general area for relaxation, a sauna bath and a solarium.
