From our capital to Lindesberg it is 196 km.
From Gothenburg to Lindesberg it is 322 km.
From Malmö to Lindesberg it is 544 km.
- What kind of activities does Lindesberg have to offer?
Hiking in Bergslagen
”Bergslagsleden” begin in Kloten and end in Närke-Tiveden. The hiking trail has got several stages. The first seven trails are between 14 km and 23 km long and are just right for a one day hike. Ask for maps at the tourist information.
Walk around lake ”Lindesjön”. The trail is 7 km long. You can make it longer, up to 9 km, if you also walk around ”lilla Lindesjön”. Ask the tourist information for maps.
"The Lasse-Maja trail” is 12 km long. It starts in Morskoga Krog and end in Ösarhyttan. Ask the tourist information for maps.
Biking in Bergslagen
The Tourist information offers some maps of biking tours. For exampel Bergslagsrundan, which is 230 km and suitable as a one day trip.
Play golf
On our Golf course, Linde GK, you will have a lovely Golf and nature experience. Our Golf course has got 18 holes, a Driving Range and a Golf Shop.
- What kind of activities for children does Lindesberg has to offer?
Adventure minigolf
Play the adventure minigolf course. The golf course has 18 holes and also offer activities such as minicars, boats and billiards.
Plantmarknaden
Plantmarknaden has a great selection of plants and flowers, but they also have a small farm with horses, rabbits and other animals. You are welcome to bring a picnic basket with you.
- Where can I buy fishing licences?
The Tourist Information has a selection of fishing licences. You do not need a licence when fishing in lake Lindesjön, it is free.
- Where can I go swimming?
In Lindesberg and the surroundings there are a lot of lakes, which you can swim in. We also have an indoor public bath, Energikällan.
- Were can I hike?
You can hike Bergslagsleden that goes through Bergslagen. This trail starts in Koten and ends in Stenkällegården Askersund. The trail has 17 stages and are between 7 and 23 km. If you want a broschure in englich, send us an e-mail or call the Tourist Information Centre.
Walk around Lindesjön. The trail is 7 km, but can be up to 9 km, if you also choose to walk around ” Lilla Lindesjön”. There are picnic areas along the trail where one can sit, eat and admire the view. The Tourist Information have maps of the area around the lakes.
The hiking trail ”Lasse-Maja Leden” is 12 km. It starts in Morskoga Krog and ends in Ösarhyttan, or the other way around. Morskoga Krog is about 20 km from Lindesberg.
