Fishing and canoeing
Kloten is the largest nature conservation area in Sweden. There are many tarns, small lakes and watercourses in this 50,000 hectare protected area. Go fishing, canoeing, or just generally roam and explore this paradise. The tarns and lakes are quite close together and thereby provide what can only be described as a treasure trove of fresh water fishing for the amateur angler. Here are the fish that will give sport to all anglers, regardless of the extent of their experience.
There are many other areas besides Kloten where one can enjoy the nature of the countryside. Many beautiful canoe trails are found in Bergslagen. Canoes are available for hire at both the camping site at Kalmarslund on Lake Råsvalen, and at Uskavigården on the shore of Lake Usken. There are opportunities for canoeing expeditions of both short and long duration.
